Dave Holt
Dave has over 30 years retail experience, 26 years working in the discount variety sector. During his distinguished career Dave held senior posts in all parts of the retail operation, cutting his teeth at branch manager level. Dave later managed numerous regions and headed up the new store open programme for the discount chain Wilkinson. After spending further years as the senior manager responsible for store merchandising and brand marketing Dave eventually moved into supply chain. Whilst responsible for company stock ordering and replenishment to stores, Dave also established consolidation strategies in Asia, implemented availability tracking, an end to end supply chain strategy and some innovative forecasting work with Lancaster University.
Jonathan has worked for several blue chip companies including Elders IXL, John Smith Brewery and the discount retailer Wilkinson. Starting out in sales, he held a number of senior posts including management development, customer service and HR. More recently, Jonathan specialised in supply chain, where he ran some of the UKs largest distribution centres and a significant transport fleet. Jonathan is recognised as an industry expert in the field of warehouse productivity and integrated transport management. His talents for software development combined with insight into lean logistics operations make him unique in his field.
Jon Fisher
Paul began exporting in 2004, undertaking these roles at various stages: buying agent, raw material importer into China, product exporter from China, importer into Canada/ USA/ UK, sales representative manager, trade fair exhibitor, brand owner, importer from Mexico, and distributor/ wholesaler. Paul started in logistics and quality control, focusing on organizing data, including shipment status reports and QC records organized by product type and material to create an ever-evolving set of testing procedures for QC inspectors. Subsequently, Paul selected factories to produce branded products, building a complementary range that made sense to the end-user, while managing a team to sell such products. Active involvement in all facets of exporting provides Paul with a perspective as to the motivations and limitations of all industry participants, from manufacturers and trading companies all the way to buyers, wholesalers and retailers.
Paul Cho
Paul has over 20 years experience operating as a customs duty adviser to numerous importers in varying trade sectors including multi nationals and SME’s. Following a career in HM Customs which involved working on freight management at ports and airports in the UK, Paul left HMRC in 1989 as a Senior Officer in the Investigation Division. He has since worked in industry and one of the big four accountancy firms before setting up Bell Davies in 1994 with fellow partners Alun Davies and John Carlin. Over the last few years Pauls work with Sigma Efficiency has resulted in the recovery of literally millions of £’s in overpaid duty from HMRC on behalf of UK retailers.
Paul Ness
William combines over 16 years as a management professional in a retail environment, with the last 10 years in Supply Chain. During his career in Supply Chain, William has held management posts in many aspects of the End to End Retail Supply Chain ranging from Long Range Order Management, Origin Services to Sea Freight and Destination Services Management. During his distinguished career, William is also recognised for his expertise in Business Intelligence Reporting and his passion for intelligence development combined with his knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Logistics make him special in his field. His adaptations of theories, methodologies, process, architectures and, combined with powerful technological advances and effective implementation strategies readily transforms any raw business data into meaningful and useful “intelligence” for business purposes and decision-making.
Will Chan
Anthony entered the export industry in 2007 and has had extensive experience liaising with manufacturers and buyers, drawing up product specifications, preparing purchase orders, calculating landed costs and presenting product information in a clear and concise manner. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Anthony has been known to edit product artwork when explaining the edits verbally to graphics designers is not as efficient.

Tara Kemp FCCA BSc (Hons) has a decade of accountancy and audit experience, including 5 years with a big 4 firm. Having started her career working with small and start-up businesses for a large Lincoln based practice, Tara has gained a real depth of knowledge across a wide range of industries, varying in size from sole traders to PLC’s, enabling her to confidently provide advice and assistance.

Working for two of the big four major food retailers in senior roles covering a twenty five year span. He has extensive knowledge of warehousing / transport/IR/ and systems and is a leader in today's Integrated Transport Management Systems. Working across several sectors ( non food/sports wear/stationary and manufacturing) focussing on providing end to end solutions and service level improvements while extracting efficiency savings and income generation.

Throughout her career Stacey has specialised in research and technology and delivers many of our in house development projects.

Sharon has built up her skills and experience over the last 20 years managing large and busy offices in both the public and private sector.
From local government to insurance to the construction industry Sharon has managed the implementation and change management of office software, payroll systems, TMS, SAP, major re-structuring. Whilst working with Sigma over the last few years Sharon has supported our customers with various system implementations including TMS, BI systems and warehouse efficiency and merchandising. Sharon’s ability in blending efficiency and cost control whilst putting customer service and support at the heart of any business is unique.

Chris is a highly experienced and accomplished Retail Operations Director, a passionate retailer with over 25 years experience working in the value variety sector with a proven track record, delivering outstanding results across several business functions. He has held senior positions in Retail Operations accountable for multiple field based regions, leading the Marketing Promotions customer planning strategy and Space Planning, responsible for optimising the macro and micro store profit performance. These combined with a senior role leading the company new store expansion programme has led to significant knowledge of end to end business process, operational delivery and strategic implementation. Throughout his career Chris has developed his retailing expertise being at the forefront of market leading customer service initiatives, development of retail trading strategies through to operational execution. This has led to industry leading experience of developing profitable business growth.

Natashka Goolsby, Sigma's in house counsel, attended both undergraduate and law school at the University of Michigan. After practicing as a corporate litigator for Foley & Lardner LLP, Natashka moved on to become a private independent attorney and has since joined Sigma Efficiency. Natashka not only operates as in house counsel, but also works closely with the sales department to grow the USA branch of Sigma Efficiency.

Ben has over 25 years experience in buying and sourcing having worked for several major UK retailers. He has gained extensive commercial trading experience across a variety of retail markets with expertise in vendor management, overseas and domestic sourcing, new product innovation and trading account management. Ben has spent a considerable amount of time in the Far East, successfully completing a two year assignment, where he was instrumental in the set up and management of the first overseas buying office in Hong Kong for a major UK retailer. Latterly, Ben has led numerous major initiatives and managed significant change projects with an emphasis on meeting customer needs, providing competitor differential and maintaining competitive advantage, whilst delivering improved product quality, value and driving logistical efficiencies.
